Petroleum Economist held the inaugural Gas to Power Forum on 30 April, 2019, at Canary Wharf in London.

The well-attended event saw discussions on a range of challenges and opportunities within the gas to power sector. For instance, speakers addressed topics such as the key sources for non-power generation gas demand growth, how to structure a successful deal and the implications for CapEx requirements.

Held in partnership with EY, Winston and Strawn LLP, Standard Chartered Bank and Energean, the event featured insights on how non-majors can finance building infrastructure, and the role of gas to power in future gas demand.

Meanwhile, other industry experts from firms such as Tellurian covered the current and future market structure and outlook.

Following the success of the event, Petroleum Economist will be organising a second edition in Houston in the fourth quarter of this year - for more information on attending or sponsoring this event, contact our Commercial Manager, Owen Raw-Rees
