Saudi Aramco, officially the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, most popularly known just as Aramco (formerly Arabian-American Oil Company), is a state-owned Saudi Arabian national petroleum and natural gas company. Headquartered in Dhahran, Aramco is a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise, with more than 61,000 employees in 77 countries. The company maintain the world’s largest spare crude oil production capacity.
