Petroleum Economist Awards
The Petroleum Economist Awards reflect the diversity of the energy sector. They reward the people and organisations that have made a significant contribution to the industry and its future. The award categories ensure the underlying objectives that contribute to an organisation’s overall financial performance are recognised.
Nominations for the 2008 awards opened in February 2009 and submissions were accepted from companies in 23 countries. Nominations were made on a voluntary basis on behalf of companies or by the companies themselves. Nominations were submitted in a standardised format and were accepted only when all requirements of the submission were completed.
The awards programme now includes submissions from non-producing companies as well as oilfield services companies and technology providers.
