The Petroleum Economist Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of companies, teams and
individuals throughout the Energy industry over the last twelve months. The diverse award categories
include a wide range of business functions. This enables companies of all sizes and strengths to
participate on an equal playing field. The winner and shortlisted finalists in each category are
acknowledged as industry leaders amongst and by their peers.

The Petroleum Economist Awards are presented to individuals and organizations selected from the
industry by the industry. Shortlisted finalists will be announced in July 2008, with the winners revealed
