Eresman quits Encana

Shaun Polczer, CALGARY: Randy Eresman stepped down as chief executive of Canadian natural-gas company Encana, the third top-level resignation from a Canadian gas producer in the past 12 months. Board member Clayton Woitas has taken over as interim chief executive. Eresman, who announced his decision on 11 January, has already vacated the post. He will step down from the board of directors on 28 February. It is a swift end to a 35-year career. The timing of his departure - 4 pm...
